WA 89 Pts - According to Robert Parker - An old name in the Napa Valley seems to be in the process of being resurrected, this 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows plenty of blackcurrant, black raspberry fruit and a touch of subtle background oak in a user-friendly, medium to full-bodied style. It has plenty of depth, ripeness and some burgeoning complexity. This should drink well for at least a decade.
Tasting Notes - Aromatics of mocha, vanilla bean, toffee and espresso. On the palate there’s dusty cocoa powder, blackberries and cassis. Bright acidity helps showcase the vivid red fruits intermingling with dark fruit components. The cabernet finishes with leather, toast and chocolate covered cherries. 14.5% ABV.
