90 Points Wine Enthusiast Notes - This saturated ruby wine is a prime example of why the Paso Robles AVA has gained so much popularity over the last decade. Days of abundant warmth and sunshine produce ripe flavors of great depth and complexity. As the sun fades, the temperature plunges, leaving fresh acidity intact for a composed balance. The nose and palate of our 2013 Bunkhouse Cabernet Sauvignon yield the unmistakable spicy perfume of Cabernet Sauvignon. Small amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot were blended in to add intrigue without losing identity. This wine was predominantly aged in neutral barrels for the sake of purity and bottled after 22 months on light lees.
