Vinous 90+ WS 88 Pts - According to Antonio Galloni - Far from an easy-going wine, the Barbaresco Bordini is another massively tannic 2010 from La Spinetta. Sweet tobacco, crushed flowers, mint and spices all waft from the glass. Today, the 2010 is incredibly tight and inexpressive. The mid-weight structure makes me think the 2010 will be a terrific Barbaresco in a few years, when the tannins soften a bit.
According to Wine Spectator - Wild rosemary, juniper, myrtle and eucalyptus mark this austere red. The fruit is buried for now, but this shows a core of sweetness on the palate. Classically structured for the long haul, and will take some time to unwind. Best from 2017 through 2030.14.5% ABV.
