According to Wine Spectator - "Sage and tobacco notes frame the cherry and earth flavors in this broad red, which is harmonious, showing some depth. Light tannins and gentle acidity support the polished texture. Drink now through 2015."
According to Wine Enthusiast - "Initial aromas of stalky, saucy plum and berry fruits become more acceptably rustic with airing. The palate is wiry and scratchy but full in size. Short berry flavors are leathery and horsey, with a pinch of mustard character. The finish is similar, with a molasses note and heat."
Tasting Notes - "Deep ruby colored with a gorgeous nose. Attractive aromas of kirsch, raspberries, pepper and melted liquorice. Full flavored wine with a supple texture and no hard edges. Medium to full bodied, fruit driven sumptuously-textured and long aftertaste." 14.8% ABV.
