According to Antonio Galloni - The 2012 Chardonnay is a gorgeous wine, especially for the money. Lemon peel, pears, white flowers and crushed rocks are nicely layered in the glass. Lioco's Chardonnay is a blend of fruit from sites in the Russian River and the Sonoma Coast. Immediate and generous, it is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years, and a fabulous value.
Winemakers Notes - Aroma - Crushed chalk, lemon oil and kaffir lime. Flavor - Candied lemon rind, chamomile and mineral. Food Pairings - Ginger chicken, shrimp & grits and stonecrab claws. 13.5% ABV.
