A wine of latin character of miultiple aromatic layers. Intense notes of plums, dark cherries, blackberries & licorice. Floral undertones of lavander & violets alternate with notes of vanilla, elegant oak and the typical toasted & smokey background. Pairings: Perfect for grilled meat in general. Asado. Flank steak, ribeye and New York cuts. Pairs beautifully with quail, meat based risottos, mushroom focused dishes, hearty grilled sausages as well as Mexican dishes like pork in mole, coloradito, enchilada and riped smoked cheeses like Gouda.
