The aromas of the Mossback Chalk Hill Cabernet Sauvignon are an enticing blend of tobacco, espresso, leather and cedar. Concentrated flavors of plum, blackberry, vanilla and dark chocolate are layered over a dense, smooth texture. The cool-weather Chalk Hill appellation shows its pedigree in the hints of fig and fine-grained tannins. This is a Cabernet with enough structure to lay down for a number of years and a texture rich and elegant enough to drink tonight with a thick prime rib.
