WS 90 WA 89 Pts - According to Wine Spectator - "This plush red offers rich, ripe fruit flavors of blackberry and currant, framed with spice, espresso and dark chocolate details. Shows structure and balance, in the modern style. Drink now through 2019."
According to Wine Advocate - "The 2011 Termes has a reticent, shy nose showing aromas of ripe blackberries and peat with mineral hints and very ripe fruit, verging on the over extraction, which diminishes the pleasure adding a blurry layer between you and the wine. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with round, fatty tannins and good balance. The spiciness turns into dried flowers and makes it quite attractive. The finish is slightly warm with the alcohol making an appearance toward the end. A bit contradictory, I know. Drink now-2016."
Winemaker Notes - "Deep bright cherry-red, with light purple tones. Fresh and intense fruity aromas (raspberry, red currant, cherry) well integrated to a flower touch (violets, lavender) with a gentle spices & eucalyptus touch. The aromatic experience continues, the mouthfeel is silky and vibrant. After a persistent and intense attack, an explosion of fruit, the end of mouth is long and complex, with spices, tobacco, raspberries and blackberries notes." 15% ABV.
