Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Jenkins Ranch has a black pepper, charcoal and tree bark-scented nose with underlying notes of raspberry leaves and pomegranate. Full-bodied, rich and packed with berry preserves flavors, it has a firm backbone and chewy finish. Drink now-2022.

Vintage after vintage, Jenkins delivers a rich, flowing expression of Pinot Noir with fine-grained velvety tannins and alluring fruit - and the 2015 vintage follows in this delicious tradition. While there are beautiful black raspberry, blueberry, dark plum and milk chocolate layers to this wine, there is also a decidedly savory side, with elements of roast meat, mushrooms and fine herbs adding character and complexity. The finish is broad and lingering, with a mouthcoating density that puts an exclamation point on this stellar Pinot Noir. A tour de force!
