IWC 92 Pts - According to International Wine Cellar - "Powerful aromas of nectarine, orange pith, fresh fig and white flowers, with a hint of anise in the background. Dry, fleshy citrus and pit fruit flavors put on weight with air. The anise quality comes back on the mineral-driven finish, which expands and deepens on the tail end. Offers a satisfying balance of power and finesse."
According to Wine Enthusiast - "Slightly leesy, oily aromas are mature, with notes of salami, apple and melon popping up. The palate is lush and round, with good acidity keeping things vertical. Leesy flavors of melon, vanilla, spiced apple and brine finish chunky, with moderate complexity."
According to Robert Parker - "One of the finest producers of Albarino, Pazo de Senorans’s 100% Albarino is always aged four months in stainless steel, and is fashioned from modest yields of 25 to 30 hectoliters per hectare. The 2013 Albarino reveals lots of minerality, which is unusual for Albarino as it tends to be fruit-dominated. It also offers notes of white peaches and honeyed apricots, zesty acids and wet stones. This medium-bodied, fresh, lively white may benefit from six more months of bottle age, and should last for 1-2 years." 12.5% ABV.
