Product Description

A perfumed nose showcases strawberry, anise and tea spice aromatics. Experience ripe, fresh raspberry, red plums and strawberry compote with a hint of subtle cedar. The fine texture and silky tannins enhance the vanilla, brown sugar, and leather notes on the finish.

James Suckling 92 Points "A refined and very fine wine with medium, velvety tannins and dried strawberries. Medium body, a polished texture and a flavorful finish. Floral undertones. Better in 2018."

Vinous / Antonio Galloni 91 Points "Brilliant ruby-red. Dark berries, cherry cola and a hint of allspice on the deeply perfumed nose. Densely packed cherry and black raspberry flavors show very good energy for their heft and pick up a hint of smokiness on the back half. Plush and round; floral and spice notes linger on a very long, subtly tannic finish. This is pretty impressive for an entry-level offering."

The Wine Advocate 90 Points "The 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, which is due to be released in June/July this year, has a refined bouquet with perfumed red cherry and wild strawberry scents; there is a hint of vanilla pod from the new oak, although there is actually slightly less new wood than the other bottlings at 20-25%. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet ripe tannin, boysenberry and raspberry fruit, a fine line of acidity and a precise finish. This is a lovely 2014 Pinot Noir."
