Product Description

WE 94 Pts - According to Wine Enthusiast - Concentrated in black currant and clove, this is a soft, silky wine, lengthy and substantial without ever becoming overbearing in terms of power or oak. Lovely anise accents the crisp fruit, providing a worthy example of the appellation and clean winemaking coming together in an elegant way.

Winemaker Notes - Aromatically charged with earth, smoke, blackberry, sandalwood, red current and baked spices, the initial nose on this wine is charged with concentration and complexity. The palate resolves into earthen black and red currant fruit, mocha and balanced, tart tannins, with a clean mineral finish. This is a wine that wants to sit at the dinner table, ready for a well charred steak served straight from the grill. 14.2% ABV.

    Complex mineral finish.

A great value Stags Leap Cab. Blackberry and red currant with some cinnamon spice and the normal Stags Leap AVA mineral cedar finish. Probably the lowest price Stags Leap cab.

    Vibrant fruit and crushed rocks.

Second bottle much better. Vibrant fruit, medium body wine. Crushed rocks and a smooth cedar finish.
