Product Description

WA 93 Pts - According to Robert Parker - "The 2012 Proprietary Red Brothers is a blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot from Alexander Valley. 1,520 cases were bottled unfiltered and the consulting winemaker was David Ramey. This is a rich, full-bodied, earthy Cabernet Sauvignon wine with plenty of crème de cassis, bouquet garni, licorice and a touch of new oak. It is moderately tannic and will benefit from several years of bottle age. Look for it to evolve over two decades or more. This is one of the strongest efforts I’ve tasted in many a year from Rodney Strong Vineyards."

According to Wine Spectator - Big, bold and marked by dusty, earthy, cedary tannins, this is dominated by notes of fresh-turned earth, red berry, dark berry, gravel and road tar. Drink now through 2023. 15.5% ABV.
