WS 91 Pts - According to Wine Spectator - "Bright and lithe, with well-meshed acidity and a solid base of minerality layered with flavors of ripe pear, salted almond, dried papaya, beeswax and honeysuckle. Finely balanced, delivering a lasting, smoky finish. Drink now through 2024."
According to International Wine Cellar - "Straw-green. Subdued but pure aromas of peach, apricot and smoke. Ripe, moderately dense and off-dry, showing good cut to the orchard fruit flavors. Finishes clean and firm, with moderate length."
Tasting Notes - "Pale golden yellow with translucent reflections. The nose is elegant at first, marked by aromas of fresh yellow fruits such as William pear and mirabelle. After aeration, the aromatic expression develops further and we discover hints of toasted almonds. A fatty sensation in the mouth completed by an elegant and tense freshness. Already open, the pear aromas appear again, completed by an exotic hint of banana." 14% ABV.
