According to Ian D'Agata, Vinous - "Pale, bright yellow. Crystallized lemon peel, fresh herbs and a whiff of exotic fruits on the nose. Densely packed for a wine labeled Pinot Blanc, but juicy rather than glyceral, offering ripe citrus and honeyed spice flavors. Neither fat nor particularly classic, this has very little of the bright floral personality of a true Pinot Blanc, though it certainly showcases what Auxerrois brings to the table in blends such as this one." Winemakers Notes - "The colour is light lemon yellow with green reflections. The nose is open and pleasant, with a deep intensity. We can feel a dominant of fruity fragrances, citrus, lemon, white fruits, golden apple and a fine floral note. Airing enhances the previous aromas and reveals a smoky, empyreumatic character. The nose expresses the fine, classic character of this wine. The wine evolves in a medium with a sharp liveliness, pithy and marked by a sparkling note. The range of aromas is reminiscent of the nose, white fruit like golden apple, citrus, lemon, and this persistent floral touch." 13.3% ABV.
