Its colour is a deep brown amber, like the volcanic earth that nurtures the sugar cane. Its aroma is the scent of Fijiﾒs forests. Sugarcane, vanilla, peach, banana and dark wood. Its flavour weaves the sweetness of sugarcane with wood and vanilla to create a perfect balance. Its feel is welcoming like the people of Fiji. Its finish is traditional, yet has its own original smoothness.
just tried this- read that it won a gold medal recently. passed it around a bunch of rum snobs who loved it. Give it a shot neat. Also tried it with coke and coffee- brings out the character in the rum
This is my favorite of all spiced rum. Unfortunately, production has apparently been limited to the point that I can no longer purchase it locally. I refuse to change the amazing flavor and drinkability of this rum by adding any mixers. I pour it over whiskey rocks so that it doesn't get diluted, as well. Far superior to Captain, Sailor Jerry's, Bacardi, or any other spiced rum at this price point.
