Moving to the reds, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate Vineyard is all varietal and spent 18 months in 48% new French oak. It offers lots of smoky blue fruits, scrub brush, and damp earth notes, an inky purple color, medium to full body, a big kick of gravelly minerality, and a great finish. Coming from the oldest vines on the estate, it's a seriously good Napa Cabernet that will benefit from a year or three of bottle age and cruise for two decades. Drink 2022-2042.

Wine Tasting Notes
This bright, ripe structured Cabernet Sauvignon has length and integrity, introduced by its deep and intense red and purple hues. Blackberry and cassis combine with dark mocha, roasted coffee, toasted oak and dark molasses for a rich and velvety fusion of aromas. Dark blackberry and plum bring a heady flavor, along with notes of cassis, dusted terroir, espresso, brown sugar and highly toasted barrel.
