Chenin Blanc is loved by sommeliers due to being such a versatile grape variety! This is due in part to different winemaking styles ranging from dry to sweet, and even sparkling. Most winemakers are attracted to Chenin Blanc due to the grapes ability to hold acidity and adapt to environmental changes. Despite travelling from the cool Loire Valley region, the varietal managed to find a home in South Africa, which is now the largest producer of Chenin Blanc. Chenin Blanc is one of the 18 noble grape varietals, with wines producing aromas of flowers, lemon, and zesty flavors.
