Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio

Although Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape, styles named after the former usually have more punchey acidity and minerality, due to the mountainous terrain of the foothills of the Alps. These wines are produced in Italy, Austria, while stretching to even Hungary, Romania, and Slovenia and are said to be refreshing, especially when served cold on a hot summer day. Pinot Grigio is one of the 18 noble grape varietals, producing acidic and zesty white wines.
