Old Vine Mendocino Zinfandel is truly a gem. Cultivated on the benchlands and slopes of mountains, these vines are over 65 years old. The name "Wild Thing" pays homage to the untamed appearance of the vines and the use of wild yeast during fermentation. Notes of black cherry, ripe plum, and raspberry aromas are complemented by a touch of cigar box and vanilla-oak baking spice.
