Dark violet with shimmering garnet color tones, the Beringer Knights Valley Reserve Cabernet has a beautiful bouquet of ripe black cherry and boysenberry, with touches of tea leaf, lavender, and fresh sage. The fruit is bright and lively, showing flavors of black currant, blackberries, and creme de cassis cordial, supported by warm spice notes of cinnamon, vanilla bean, and allspice. Velvety-rich in texture with fine-grained polished tannins and an elegant lengthy finish with concentrated, dense, dark fruit, accompanied by a precise tension and balance that pleases the palate from first sip to last.
