Wine Tasting Notes
Both lively and expressive, our Chardonnay brings together aromas of lemon zest, Bosc pear with wet stone and a touch of vanilla. The wine possesses an individual character found only in this vineyard. Another key to the wines' individuality comes from fermenting equal amount of the grapes in new Blonde and neutral French oak barrels, small stainless-steel barrels, and small egg-shaped concrete fermenters. Following fermentation, the wine was aged sur lie for about a year. The result is a seamless and integrated wine that is powerful yet elegant and age-worthy it will continue to develop in the bottle over the next five to ten years.
