Specially selected parcels of Chardonnay from our own vineyard and some from long term growing partners across Central Victoria were harvested in the cool of the night to preserve the fresh fruit flavors and delicate aromas. Each parcel was cool fermented separately in stainless steel, with some parcels being aged on lees, and some on French oak for a few months or both. Finding the perfect balance when blending these parcels together for the finished wine is another layer of the artistry. Zilzie Victoria Chardonnay begins with captivating aromas, then the luscious peaches and vibrant summer grapefruit tantalize the palate, whilst the subtle oak just lingers in the background. This highly drinkable wine is crafted for enjoyment upon release.
