Ceylon cinnamon, grown in India, is mildly sweet on the palate and compliments the citrus. Lemon juice rounds the flavor. We purposely created a flavor profile that was low on the glycemic index, utilizing Vermont Grade A maple syrup as our sweetener. Tying all the flavors together is the smoky, earthy essence of maca root, native to the Peruvian Central Andes, grown at extremely high altitudes.
