Blended with 10% Merlot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Dr. Crane Vineyard gives up warm red and black fruits, earth and iron ore with notes of meats and cedar. The palate is full-bodied, firm and chewy with a good core, finishing long and mineral laced. Drink now-2035.

Wine Tasting Notes
This flagship Cabernet opens with notes of black cherry, dried tobacco, pencil shavings, and thyme. Medium plus in weight, the core is velvety in texture and framed by powdery refined tannins. Dried sage and blood orange shine through on the finish, which has notable persistence. Driven by finesse with a hint of minerality, this expression of the Dr. Crane Vineyard site is unadulterated, unfined, and unfiltered.
