The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Peak is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple colored, it is a little closed to begin, opening to reveal notes of baked black cherries, warm cassis and cedar chest plus hints of cardamom and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, taut and muscular with grainy tannins and seamless freshness, it finishes with a minerally lift. Drinking Window 2023-2040.

Blackberries, hints of cassis, leafy herbs, and tobacco emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Peak Estate, a beautifully pure, fresh, yet nicely concentrated 2019. It almost has a 2018 level of freshness and purity, and the tannins are ripe and polished, yet certainly present. It's another beautiful wine from this estate. The blend is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec.
