The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Bosque from Puente Alto, Maipo, was aged for 18 months, one-third in new barrels. Garnet red in the glass. The oxidative nose begins with notes of cigar box, black currant and orange zest, followed by hints of herbs and rather exotic truffle aromas. Smooth and broad with polished tannins and a slow, voluminous flow. This will improve in the bottle. Drinking Window 2024-2032.
