Aromas of blackcurrants come through clearly along with hints of lead pencil. It's medium- to full-bodied with fine velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Caressing texture and not overdone. Lovely now to drink as a young wine but it will be even better in three to five years.

Its bouquet is filled with captivating scents of crushed black cherry, mushroom, and leather, which pave the way for a concentrated palate of black cherry and black currant infused with hints of mocha and toasted spice. The middle of the palate is velvety and indulgent, thanks to the gentle and refined tannins that gracefully carry the intertwined flavors towards a pure and enduring finish.
