The 2019 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso I Progni lifts up dusty in character, as crushed rocks give way to shavings of cedar and sweet cherry and wild berries. Its textures are silky and enveloping, with ripe red and hints of blue fruits complemented by sweet herbs and spices, as brisk acids maintain a high-energy feel throughout.
