Wine Spectator Review
Rated 91
A sleek, medium- to full-bodied red, with a zesty underpinning to flavors of baked black cherry, date, cured tobacco and Asian five-spice. The flavor range is tightly knit to the firm, sculpted tannins; decant or try some short-term cellaring here. Best from 2023 through 2028.

Wine Tasting Notes
This is an opulent and decadent wine. A wine of great concentration, loaded with layers of fruits, with great structure, power and finesse. It is still young but reveals its personality. On the nose, intense aromas of forest fruits, cherry under spirits, cedar, cocoa and hints of leather. On the palate is rich, fleshy and complex with layers of dark fruit, clove, hints of chocolate and mocha. It has complexity and freshness, thanks to a good level of acidity and tannins are firm and silky. Extremely balanced with long, lingering finish.

How to Serve Liquor – Quick Tips

How to Serve Liquor – Quick Tips
  • Temperature Matters: Serve whiskey and bourbon at room temperature, vodka chilled, and tequila slightly cool to preserve aroma and balance.
  • Choose the Right Glass: Use a rocks glass for whiskey, a flute or coupe for sparkling spirits, and a tulip or snifter for aged liquors.
  • Don’t Rush the Pour: Allow spirits to breathe for a few moments before tasting — it softens alcohol notes and opens complex flavors.
  • Savor with Intention: Sip slowly, appreciate aroma before taste, and pair thoughtfully with food or fine company.
