Deep, lurid magenta. Expressive, oak-spiced cherry, blackberry and floral pastille aromas are complemented by building suggestions of vanilla and licorice. Sweet, seamless and pliant in the mouth, offering plush dark berry, cherry preserve, dark berry and spicecake flavors and a repeating vanilla note. Shows very good focus and energy on the long, juicy finish, which features repeating spiciness and velvety, slow-building tannins. Malo and 13 months of aging in new French oak barrels.
