The single-vineyard 2023 Mas de la Rosa is very impressive, cropped from vines planted in 1900 at 600 meters above sea level on steep slopes, from a vineyard that has achieved the official classification of "Gran Vino de Viña Clasificada," the top of the Priorat categories. It's pure Cariñena that fermented destemmed in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete eggs and Austrian oak foudres for 10 months. Like most of its siblings, it's a ripe wine with balance in an XL way, with 15.5% alcohol and a 3.5 pH. 1,325 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2025. Drinking Window 2025-2037.
