Wine Enthusiast Review
Rated 92
The calling card white variety for this historic Barossa estate, this is, in typical Viognier fashion, a full figured white wine, all curves and soft edges, with appealing aromas of white peach, jasmine flower and a lick of honey. Chill down well and sip beside mushroom risotto or sweet buttery lobster.
Wine Tasting Notes
Pure aromas reminiscent of fresh apricots, lifted ginger, saffron and fresh white flowers. The palate is long, rich and luscious, with intense and expressive stone fruit flavors finishing with an alluring freshness. This wine will continue to grow and develop in the bottle, firstly showing enhanced apricots and spice, then honey flavors and toast complexity.
